Privacy policy
This policy explains what Gained Tempo collects when you use gainedtempo.com.au or get in touch with us, what we do with it, and how to get in touch about it. We're a Sydney business and we handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
If you fill in the contact form we collect your name, phone number, email address, business name, type of work, team size, what you'd like us to look at, anything you type into the free text field, and any file you attach. We use this to call you back and to prepare for that conversation. We don't add you to a marketing list.
If you send us a tender, quote or other document, or talk us through how your business works, that may include job records, customer names, pricing and staff names. We treat that as your confidential business information, we use it only to show you what we'd build and to build it, and we don't share it with anyone outside the people doing the work. Ask and we'll delete it.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site: which pages they read, how they got here and where they leave. Clarity may record how a page is scrolled and clicked. Anything you type into a form is masked and isn't captured in those recordings.
Both tools set cookies. You can block them in your browser and the site still works. Google and Microsoft process this data under their own privacy policies, and some of it is stored outside Australia.
Who else sees it
Contact form submissions, including attachments, are delivered to us by email through Resend, and the site is hosted on Railway. Both may store data on servers outside Australia. We don't sell personal information and we don't give it to anyone for their own marketing.
If we bring in a tool to build a workflow for you, we tell you what it is and what it touches before it goes anywhere near your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we're talking with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. If you'd like something deleted sooner, email us and we'll do it.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@gainedtempo.com.au and we'll reply within a few business days.
If you're not happy with how we've handled something, tell us first and we'll try to sort it out. If that doesn't work, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
